Last week was an extremely busy period for the THEN AND NOW PR team with exciting partnerships and pops ups, to many more fashion based events in London this week.
Unbeknownst to our PR & office assistants, the start of our non stop but exciting stop two working periods began on Friday 1st November, where THEN AND NOW hosted an Pop Up shop exclusive to ‘Googlers’ at the search engine’s huge HQ in central London.
The event was a huge success with Googler’s being able to shop our new collections first hand. Our Anthony Miles Footwear & STANCE socks were a hit with the Google guys as well as the Google ladies preparing for Christmas a whole month early.
We can hardly believe that following a hectic afternoon preparing and hosting THEN AND NOW x Google Pop Up Shop, that in less than a week, we’d also host the brands first solo press breakfast. The intimate press focused event was held at Hearst Magazine Offices on Thursday 7th November, where editor’s, journalists, stylists and a handful of bloggers were treated to manicures by Nice Nails Baby and delicious breakfast yogurts, teas and blueberry muffins.
Keeping up with our fashionable appearances (even on a Monday evening), THEN AND NOW’s PR team made a beeline to The School Of Grazia, the new collaboration and public incentive run by Grazia Magazine and The Apple Store on Regents street for a short masterclass on the art of blogging. The Q&A presented by Grazia’s Editor In Chief Angela Buttolph, was riveting with first hand tips available to anyone wishing to embark on a career in the blogosphere from speakers Emily of Fashion Foie Gras, Ella of Coco’s Tea Party and La Petite Anglaise. The School of Grazia is really the series of events to miss! Catch the THEN AND NOW PR team next week at The School Of Grazia, where talks will based on the new phoenomeon not to mention, exciting and tasty world of food blogging.

Tuesday was even more eventful with press days in full swing, and our PR team attending press days for some of our favourite designers including Calvin Klein Home. The SS14 Bedding preview was held at the Strand’s ME Hotel presented a polished collection of luxurious and accented bedding paired with delicate, woven textures, perfect for those wanting to create a serene home next season.
To round of our press day travels, we ventured through Covent Garden where we were met with a beautifully warm feeling of Christmas after stumbling across Covent Garden Piazza’s extraordinarily huge Christmas tree.
In the evening, we were simply too excited to refuse the offer to attend SUSHISAMBA’S birthday and Christmas Lights event. The “not so small” party to celebrate the restaurant’s first birthday, in spectacular style covered both the 38th and 39th floors of the Heron Tower in Aldgate, London. The glitzy bash attended by celebrities including Leona Lewis, Julian Macdonald, Samantha Ronson, Nicole Scherzinger, Miquita Oliver, Nick Grimshaw with an incredible performance by singer Neneh Cherry was certainly eventful. With champagne and beautifully crafted cocktails flowing, it was the perfect occasion to celebrate and mingle with London’s finest from all industries from banking to television, fashion and music.
