London Fashion Week SS16

As one of fashions biggest events comes to a close, the THEN AND NOW team are here to bring you our bi-annual report on this season’s London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 trends, street styles and happenings!

The evolution of the polka dot has made its way back only this time, bigger, bolder and brighter!

Head to toe white takes a romantic twist from New York Fashion Week with lace, frills, crochet and fluffy knits.

Stripes of all sorts were seen making their way from New York Fashion Week. Only this time these stripes see no limit with a play on direction, metallics and even monochromatic sheers!

Taking to the streets, we are greeted with bright blues and reds. Definitely a colour trend to look out for!

There’s no lack of colour in the the showrooms either with many brands donning fun detailing such as ruffled stripes and fluffy wool along in a rainbow of colours.

As we head over to the Saatchi Gallery for SCOOP London, we are welcomed with a green carpet that reminded us of those summers in the parks. SCOOP saw many pastels and reds giving off that playful fun vibe. We definitely couldn’t get enough of it!

Although London Fashion Week started off with awkwardly fickle weather, London Fashion Week SS16 saw many fun and playful colours and textures. We would like to thank Style StreetStalker for our wonderful showroom and street photos . We can’t wait to see what’s in store next season!
